The drama of coming up with a Missouri Legislative Map continues in Jefferson City.
After the Senate finally approved their version of the map last week after months of debate, they sent it to the House which rejected it and requested a conference with the Senate to seek a compromise. The Senate rejected that request late Wednesday night. The House once again asked for the conference on a vote Thursday with the Senate to once again consider it on Monday.
Regardless of which map is chosen, right now both versions has Taney County split primarily into the 8th District with Branson and some of the surrounding area remaining in the 7th District.
If a map is not decided on by the end of the session, it could go to the courts.
