Branson Mayor Larry Milton presented Colton Cooper with the "You've Been Caught Doing Something Good" award.
Milton presented Cooper with the award during Tuesday night's Board of Aldermen meeting. The following is a quote from the mayor.
"Colton is receiving this award because of his quick thinking that helped save an autistic man who had been the subject of a missing person alert. During a show, the missing man reached out to the Cooper family and wanted to speak to Colton who was an old friend. Colton then began receiving texts from friends saying this person was missing and that the police were looking for him. That's when Colton put two and two together that the missing man was in the audience. The Cooper family called the police who showed up, found the missing man, and arrested his kidnapper. Colton's actions that night is a great example of someone who helps to keep his community safe."
