The College of the Ozarks Nursing program works with the community in helping their students learn and be ready for the medical field.
On a recent "At Your Service" Podcast, Assistant Professor of Nursing Denise Tlustos talked about the program and their work with internships with area organizations including the Stone County Health Department to give their students practical experience.
The program, which began in 2007, has had a 100% pass rate for their RN Exam over the last three years plus a 100% job placement rate, many staying in the region to continue their careers.
