Cold Air Settles Into Lakes Region

The cold air has arrived in the Lakes Region and settles in for the next couple of days.

The front pushed through Saturday night with temperatures settling into the 40s for highs today.

Low temperatures overnight tonight will drop into the low 20s and areas that have not had a frost or freeze yet this season, including Carroll and Madison Counties in northwest Arkansas, are under a Freeze Warning tonight into Monday morning. 

Temperatures will stay in the 40s on Monday but rebound into the 60s for Veterans Day on Tuesday. 

Little to no rain is in the forecast during the period with windy conditions prompting officials to warn the public about outdoor burning,.
