A traffic crash in Christian County results in one fatality.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:15 Monday evening on Highway 160 south of Highlandville when a car driven by 68-year-old Sarah Marshall of Clever pulled into the path of a vehicle which collided with Marshall's vehicle on the drivers side. Marshall was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield where she later died. Two people in the other vehicle sustained minor to moderate injuries.
This is the 65th fatality in accidents worked by Troop D of the MSHP in 2022.
