The total amount of donations raised as a result of the first collaboration between the Children's Miracle Network and the Ozarks Dynacom Family of stations was significant thanks to the generosity of business and individuals around the lakes region and beyond.
The two-day radiothon resulted in total donations of $74,075 pledged to help fund the efforts with treatments and programs for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital at Cox South in Springfield.
Children's Miracle Network Hospital Executive Director Tim Siebert said during the wrap-up of the radiothon that the money raised will allow Children's Miracle Network to help more children in southwest Missouri and northcentral Arkansas with their programs of treatment and support.
The radiothon featured stories of families that benefited from the Children's Miracle Network as well as members of the staff of the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and Cox Staff. Jay Osmond, who's family helped found the Children's Miracle Network in the 80's, also appeared during the radiothon.
More information on the services provided by Children's Miracle Network and to donate to the organization can be found on the CMN Website.
