Charges have been filed against a man from Bradleyville after a shooting resulted in a man's death.
Charles Vernon Tinker is facing charges of Second-Degree Murder, Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon that resulted in the death of 52-year-old Jon Lovelace also of Bradleyville.
According to the Probable Cause Statement posted by Ozarks First, Tinker said he did shoot Lovelace during a verbal confrontation after Lovelace said he was going to kill him. Tinker said in a further interview with investigators that he got a 9mm Handgun and said he had intended to shoot him in the leg but said he was not sure where he actually shot him.
Tinker is currently being held in the Taney County Jail.
