Charges have been dismissed without prejudice in a fatal crash in July that killed Jonathan Wright of Crane.
According to an Ozarks First Report, the initial investigation indicated a juvenile may have been the cause of the crash which is why the initial charges were filed. The subsequent investigation has cleared the juvenile with Springfield Police now looking at other suspects in the crash.
The five-car crash that killed Wright and injured several other people took place around 7:00 am on July 22 at the intersection of Sunshine and Kansas Expressway in southwest Springfield.
More information on the crash can be found on the Ozarks First Website.
