While there will be no April Election in the Branson School District, a change will be coming to the board.
Per state law, when the number of candidates in a school board election equal the number of open seats, the district can decide not to hold an election.
Only two people filed for the two seats though one person not filing was longtime member Roger Frieze, who will step away from the board after 14 years. In his place will be Shawn Clemens who is running for the first time while the other person filing, Carolyn Boss, will serve a second term on the board.
