In their efforts to restock low Blood Supplies in the region, the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has scheduled a pair of drives in the Lakes Region later this month.
According to press releases from the CBCO, drives will be held on September 21 in Harrison in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church from 12-6 pm and on September 22 in Hollister at the Main Office of the Branson Tri-Lakes News from 11:00 am to 5 pm.
The CBCO says in their releases that less than a one-day supply of most blood types are available while blood transfusions continue to take place at a record rate. The turnout at many area blood drives is still being negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic according to the releases.
More information about other opportunities to donate blood can be found at the CBCO Website.
