The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks has issued an Emergency Appeal for all blood types.
In a release from the CBCO, officials say that they currently have less than a one-day supply of all blood types for the hospitals they serve in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
Media Representative Chris Pilgrim, during a recent interview on KRZK's Ozarks Now program, said the COVID surge in the region has posed several obstacles in conducting blood drives.
Donors can give at one of the CBCO Blood Centers plus opportunities are coming up next week in the Lakes Region with Drives next Tuesday at Branson City Hall as well as at the First Christian Church in Harrison as well as the Branson Tri-Lakes News Offices in Hollister next Wednesday.
