An incident Tuesday in Carroll County results in a man shot, another man arrested, and a nearby structure damaged by fire.
According to the release from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, personnel were dispatched to County Road 830 where they found 33-year-old Ian Moran suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. While being treated, Moran told law enforcement who had shot him. That sent officers searching for and eventually arresting 39-year-old John Tallent on charges of Attempted Murder and Battery. Tallent is being held in the Carroll County Jail on a $750,000 Bond while Moran was taking to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison then to Mercy Hospital in Springfield where he is in critical condition.
