A couple of businesses in the construction zone of the Downtown Branson Streetscape Project reported strong sales for the Memorial Day Weekend.
Ozarks First visited with Steve Hartley of Dicks Five and Ten along with Samantha Krikorian, of Kilroy’s who said that they experienced surges in business during the holiday weekend. Krikorian mentioned that the completion of part of the sidewalk in front of their businesses made it easier for customers to navigate.
Hartley added that City of Branson has been responsive in communicating with businesses and the pubic on the construction progress.
The timeline calls for completion of this part of the project on Main Street between Veterans Blvd. and Commercial to be completed in June with the next phase between Commercial and Sycamore to begin later in June and be completed by October.
