An area boat ramp is closed today for construction work.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close the Tucker Hollow boat ramp and surrounding area on Bull Shoals Lake today.
Officials say closure is needed to allow contract crews to complete paving and other construction work around the ramp.
The Tucker Hollow campground remains closed for the season, and no additional amenities are expected to be affected by the work. Boaters who planned to use the Tucker Hollow ramp are encouraged to launch from the Lead Hill boat ramp during the closure.
The improvements are intended to enhance safety and improve the overall visitor experience according to the release from the USACE.
