Brittany Sellers appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss her film; her aunt and dad joined her. The film follows characters facing the challenges coming from a zombie virus. Sellers' movie is available on Tubi.
The longtime aspiring filmmaker said she has wanted to make movies as long as she could remember. She explained that she likes zombie stories, and her desire to make a zombie movie was inspired by her mom's journey with cancer.
Sellers said she infused the emotions that of facing mortality into the film. "I thought, 'I will transfer all my emotions into a fictional universe where there's a zombie virus. Her characters experience all the same emotions that she did.
Sellers' mom helped make the film. She helped with directing and casting; she also wrote the character of Dakota. "It's like she's alive in the film," Sellers said.
