A project got underway today to rehabilitate the two bridges connecting downtown Branson to Hollister.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the Branson Landing Boulevard Bridge connecting to the Hollister Roundabout is closed today and will be closed again Tuesday for the work. The bridge is scheduled to reopen again on Wednesday.
Work then begins on the Veterans Blvd. Bridge connecting to the roundabout on Wednesday. Initial work will be under the bridge though in mid-October, the bridge will be closed for about a month for work on the driving surface. New striping will be a part of the work on both bridges.
Signs and message boards are in place to remind drivers of the work zones.
