Brendon Rapinchuk was recognized by the Branson government for working on an issue and as a result saving Branson time and money.
During Tuesday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting, Aldermen Clay Cooper presented Rapinchuk with the Employee of the Month award. Rapinchuk is the Information Technology Network Administrator. “Brendon is being recognized for the time and money he saved the City while troubleshooting a large, complicated issue related to a scanner incorrectly sizing certain document scans,” Cooper said.
Cooper said the scans were being pulled into Laserfiche to be “securely retained and eventually made accessible to the public.” Laserfiche is Branson’s Electronic Content Management software.
“He has taken it upon himself to learn the ins and outs of the Laserfiche system and has even surpassed the skill level of most of the Laserfiche support staff,” Cooper said. He also said Rapinchuk has been a vital part of implementing and maintaining the software. “He is always willing to do what it takes, even if it means going above and beyond his job title, to make sure problems get solved in the most cost-efficient way.”
Cooper congratulated Rapinchuk and the two had a picture taken. Applause could be heard in the room of many standing attendees.
