After a four-day break in the rain, a wet pattern of weather returns to the Lakes Region this week.
According to the National Weather Service, the first round of rain will arrive in the area today. While rain chances are high, most of the Lakes Region is expected to see under an inch of rain total except in areas where thunderstorms develop with brief downpours getting the amount closer to an inch of rain. Forecasters also say a marginal chance of severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into this evening.
Except for Wednesday, there is at least a slight chance of rain in the forecast every day this week.
