A Branson Woman is facing a Domestic Violence Charge in Stone County.
The Stone County Inmate roster shows Rebecca Lea Thompson is facing charges of Second Degree Domestic Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action.
According to court documents recapped by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, the incident took place on December 23 near the Ozark Mountain Pizza Company in Reeds Spring. Stone County Deputies were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence situation which they discovered developed from an argument Thompson had with the victim, who according to Thompson was supposed to be helping care for her kids while she was recovering from surgery. Information was obtained that the argument led to Thompson picking up a knife and stabbing the victim in the side.
Thompson is currently in the Stone County Jail on $50,000 bond.
