A local group dedicated to helping area residents learn about local government is holding another candidate event in March.
Branson U's Candidate Forum will take place Saturday March 4 at the Hughes Brothers Theater at 1:00 pm. The candidates for the contested Branson Mayor's Race as well as the Branson School Board Race are scheduled to participate as well as the uncontested candidates for the Branson Board of Aldermen.
Pearl Haining, one of the founders of Branson U, says during a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that people that want certain questions asked of the candidates can submit them to the organization through their website or Facebook Page by March 2. Haining says this event is part of the continuing program to help Branson Citizens understand more about their government and the people that represent them.
