The final report for the Branson's Tourism Tax Revenue for 2025 is record breaking.
According to a recap of the report reported by Jason Wert of the Branson Tri-Lakes News, the amount of tourism tax for 2025 was $19,671,572, a 10.1% increase over 2024, the highest yearly amount of tourism tax in the tax’s history.
In addition, the increase of $1,797,621 over 2024’s final total is the highest year-to-year increase in the tax’s history not including COVID-19 impacted years.
The record increase also reverses last year’s slight decline in yearly revenue, when the total fell 2.5% compared to 2023. The total for 2025 is also the first time the tourism tax revenue is over $19 million.
