A long-standing theater in Branson has a new owner and a new performer.
The Encore Theater, which was originally the Mel Tillis Theater and later the Tri-Lakes Center and Branson Events Center on Highway 248, has been purchased by Spanish Magician Antonio Diaz, also known as El Mago Pop, the “Pop Magician.”
The theater will be renamed The Branson Magic Theater with Diaz performing shows during the late spring and summer months. Diaz tells the Branson Tri-Lakes News that they plan to open next year but hopes to do a few introductory shows later this year.
Details on the story can be found on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
