Two students from Cedar Ridge Intermediate have been selected to the Missouri All-State Children’s Choir. Grace Rand and Scarlett Scroggins will perform at the Missouri Music Educators Conference on January 26 at the Tan-Tar-A Conference Center.
"This is a big honor, and I couldn't be more proud of them,” says Salley Doherty, Music Teacher at Cedar Ridge Intermediate. Rand and Scroggins were selected through an audition process, along with 118 other students from around the state.
The Missouri All-State Children’s Choir will perform at 4:30 p.m. in Paradise C Ballroom. The performance is free and open to the public. “For 84 years MMEA has been the gold standard for Missouri music students,” says Chris Sprague, Missouri Music Educators Association President. The MMEA Conference is a nationally recognized professional development event.
