The Branson government wants the public's opinions to help mold future plans, according to a city press release.
The full release is below:
(BRANSON, MO, February 18, 2025) The City of Branson is launching a community-wide survey to gather input that will help shape the city’s future. In partnership with the Southwest Missouri Council of Governments (SMCOG), Branson is updating its comprehensive plan—a strategic roadmap guiding decisions on land use, housing, economic development, parks, infrastructure, tourism and more.
Survey postcards will begin arriving in mailboxes this week, inviting residents, business owners and stakeholders to share their insights. Each mailer contains a survey link, and participants can also access the survey directly at bransonmo.gov/survey. The survey takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete and will remain open until March 17, 2025, at 9 a.m.
City officials encourage broad community participation, inviting everyone connected with Branson—residents, business owners, students, and visitors—to share their input. The feedback will help shape development strategies for the next 10 to 15 years. For questions or assistance with completing the survey, please contact Mark Colussy, Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, at mcolussy@bransonmo.gov or 417-334-3345.
The above press release is from the Branson government.
