A Branson Public Works employee was recognized with the Employee of the Month award on Tuesday.
Public Works Maintenance Worker Kevin Jacobs received the award from Alderman Cody Fenton at the Tuesday night Branson Board of Aldermen meeting. Fenton said Jacobs was nominated by several people, adding that Jacobs goes beyond what is required of him. “He figures out what needs to be done, jumps in where he is needed even if it isn't his job, and finishes tasks with a good attitude,” Fenton said. The alderman also highlighted work Jacobs did during winter.
“This past winter he ran a walk-behind snowblower for twelve straight hours, three nights in a row and never complained once. In fact, he always has something positive and uplifting to say,” Fenton said. He said Jacobs is a great representative of Branson and demonstrates Branson’s values of teamwork, integrity and excellence.
Fenton congratulated Jacobs and said “keep up the good work!”
