Branson police dispatch is going to have someone new at the helm.
At a ceremony on Thursday, August 8, at Branson City Hall, Dispatch Supervisor John Pate was honored after announcing his retirement after 27 years of service to the city of Branson.
“John is one of those people that you can say is truly a good person,” Police Chief Eric Schmitt told Branson Tri-Lakes News. “If I could clone him for the ideal employee, I would. Even after 27 years of service to the city, as a Parking Enforcement Officer, Police Officer, Dispatcher, and Dispatch Supervisor, John always came to work with a huge smile and wanting to help everyone.”
