The Branson Police Department is going to be celebrating more than just a new headquarters by the end of 2025.
The Branson Board of Aldermen approved a lease-to-own agreement for the department which will allow them to make key replacements in the patrol fleet.
“All of the Dodge Chargers that we originally leased through Enterprise are aging out, so it was time to begin replacing them,” Police Chief Eric Schmitt told Branson Tri-Lakes News. “We also expanded the fleet by four vehicles due to our full staffing requiring more patrol cars.”
