The Branson Police Department is continuing an investigation into a jewelry scam that took place over the last couple of weeks.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, the suspects are from Eastern Europe, and they were selling fake jewelry to victims with the story that they were stranded in Branson and needed money.
Officers located the suspects and stopped the scam while uncovering evidence including a large amount of cash.
Branson police is asking anyone who was victimized by the suspects to contact them via their crime tip submission link online.
