Several social media posts on Tuesday reported the presence of law enforcement officers at several locations in Branson.
The posts showed pictures federal agents working alongside Branson Police Officers at the Flaming Margaritas locations at the Branson Landing and on West 76 Country Blvd.
The Branson Tri-Lakes News reached out to the City of Branson for comment on the incident and were told by Communications Manager Mariya Seryth that Branson officers were assisting Homeland Security Investigations in executing search warrants and that further information would be released later by the U.S. Justice Department.
