The complete release below is from the City of Branson:

Branson Parks & Recreation is launching Branson Career Kickstart, a free, hands-on program designed to help teens or those newly entering the workforce build the confidence, skills, and preparation needed to successfully enter the workforce. As part of the Branson C.A.R.E.S. (Career Acceleration Readiness, Education, and Services) Program, Career Kickstart focuses on practical skills that can help those entering the workforce stand out to employers and make a strong first impression. The program provides participants with an opportunity to learn, practice, and receive feedback in a supportive environment.

Throughout the five-week workshop, participants will explore key areas of career readiness, including:

Resume Basics – Learn how to create a simple, effective resume that gets noticed.
Interview Preparation – Practice answering common interview questions with confidence.
Dress for Success – Learn what to wear and how to make a great first impression.
Workplace Readiness – Develop important soft skills employers are looking for.
Mock Interviews – Participate in practice interviews and receive helpful feedback.
“Career Kickstart is about giving the next generation the tools and confidence to take that first step into entering the workforce,” said Joshua Aubin, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. “Whether this is their first job or they are preparing for future opportunities, we want participants to leave feeling more prepared and confident about what comes next.”

The Branson Career Kickstart program will be led by industry professionals and be held on Tuesdays, September 22 through October 20, from 5:30 to 7:00pm at Branson RecPlex, 1501 Branson Hills Parkway, Branson, MO 65616. The program is free, and pre-registration is recommended as space is limited.

Branson Career Kickstart is part of Branson Parks & Recreation's Branson C.A.R.E.S. Program, an initiative focused on providing teens and those newly entering the workforce with career readiness, education, and service opportunities.

Participants may register in person at the Branson RecPlex or register online. For more information, contact the Branson RecPlex at 417-335-2368 or visit the Branson C.A.R.E.S. webpage
