Branson Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Trees on Highway 76

A 21-year-old Branson man suffered serious injuries Friday night after his motorcycle ran off Highway 76 and crashed into several trees north of the city, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:35 p.m. Sept. 4 on Highway 76 about two miles north of Branson, the patrol reported.

Authorities said the man was traveling eastbound when the motorcycle left the right side of the roadway. The bike then struck several trees before overturning, ejecting the rider.

Emergency responders transported the injured motorcyclist to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment of serious injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
