A Branson man charged in the February shooting of his roommate has entered a plea and was sentenced last week.

According to Taney County Court Records, Eric Michael Boehme will spent 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for 1st Degree Assault after entering an Alford Plea for the incident in which he shot his roommate at a residence on Aaron Way after they argued about money and his possible eviction from the residence. A second charge of Armed Criminal Action was dropped according to a Plea Agreement. In entering an Alford Plea, Boehme does not admit guilt in the incident but acknowledges the evidence is not present to acquit him of the crime.

Boehme has been in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth since his arrest and will get credit for time served.
