Branson Man Facing Charges in Stabbing Incident

A man is in the Taney County Jail Facing charges in the stabbing of an individual in Branson.

According to a release from the Branson Police Department, officers responded to the report of the stabbing at an apartment complex on Francis Street Saturday afternoon. Officers found an adult male victim suffering from serious wounds. Officers began to treat the victim with Branson Fire and Taney County Ambulance personnel taking over upon arrival. The victim was taken to a Springfield Hospital in critical condition. 

While the suspect fled the scene, Branson Police quickly located the suspect, identified as 28-year-pld Jesse Flory of Branson. He was arrested and taken to the Taney County Jail in Forsyth and booked on charges of First Degree Assault and Armed Criminal Action. The investigation is still on going and additional charges may be filed by the Taney County Prosecutor's Office. 

In the release, Branson Police thank witnesses on the scene and assisting agencies including the Taney County Sheriff's Office for their assistance on this case.
