A 71-year-old man from Branson has died as the result of injuries suffered in a single vehicle crash east of Reeds Spring Monday morning.
According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was driving his pick-up truck eastbound on Highway 248 when it ran off the road and struck a tree. The man, not identified in the report, was taken by Taney County Ambulance to Cox Medical Center in Branson where he was later pronounced dead.
This is the 76th fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
