An estimated 300 people attended the Branson edition of the No Kings Rally this past Saturday.
Branson Tri-Lakes News Reporter Jason Wert, during an interview on KRZK’s “Ozarks Now” program said that the rally covered around three blocks. Wert said the people, which lined up for around three blocks on West 76 Country Music Blvd., told him their reasons for being there were in protest to what the say is the dictatorial style of leadership by President Donald Trump and some of his recent decisions including sending troops into cities to help contain crime and for immigration enforcement.
Wert added a dozen or so people also went to the Trump Store to show support for the current administration. The gathering was one of several that took place across the county on Saturday.
Wert will have a recap with pictures from the rally in Wednesday’s edition of the Branson Tri-Lakes News.
