Branson Fire Recognized by Board of Aldermen

Some Branson fire personnel were honored as Employees of the Month by Branson government during Tuesday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting.

Alderman Jeff Seay presented the award to them.

“It is my privilege to announce that the City of Branson’s Service and Excellence Employee of the Month award for May 2021, is going to Captain Clark Bogle, Engineer Brien Reinke, Firefighter Christian Salley, and Firefighter Truman Hosiner of Branson Fire Rescue.

This award is to recognize employees who have gone above and beyond, and whose performance exemplifies the City of Branson values,” Seay said.

Seay talked about a situation where they cared for a Veteran who was in a local motel. He had broken off the shower’s valve by accident when attempting to exit the shower. Following that, water flooded the room, all the Veteran’s luggage and clothes.

In addition to needing help out of the shower, he was being evicted from the motel because of the flooding. “This Branson Fire Rescue team could have gotten him out of the shower and left but instead worked for several hours to find the Veteran another motel, get him a ride there, and found some dry clothing for him,” Seay said.
