The Ozark Mountain Christmas Season kicks-off next week with the annual public event that will feature the lighting of the Branson Community Christmas Tree.
According to a release from the Branson Christmas Coalition, the lighting of the tree at the Ferris Wheel will take place next Thursday November 2nd at 6:30 pm. Pastor Tom Wilcox of 1st Presbyterian Church along with entertainer Rick McEwen will be a part of the ceremony that will also feature an appearance by Santa Claus.
The theme of this year’s tree is “Evergreen & Ever Glowing” which according to the coalition will celebrate the balance between nature and neon in the Branson area.
