Some downtown Branson business owners made their feelings known at Tuesday night's Board of Aldermen meeting.
Those business people took to the public comment section of the meeting to air their concerns and frustrations regarding the impact the Branson Streetscape project has on their work. Construction has made it difficult for owners to attract customers. Additionally, one owner voiced that paying rent is proving challenging.
There are other issues these business owners are facing, sharing during the meeting that the construction makes it harder for people with mobility issues to get around, an issue that ironically, will shrink with the completion of the project. Updating ADA is one factor behind the project.
Several board members expressed concern as well as attempted to shed light on what has transpired.
The streetscape was just one topic at the meeting.
