The Branson Board of Aldermen met for over four hours last week with several items on their agenda.
Among the items finalized was the cooperative agreement with the Historic Downtown Branson Community Improvement District. The agreement had been discussed and revised for several months prior to last week’s approval.
One item that was postponed was a proposal to put new guidelines for those wishing to address the board during meetings. The bill if passed would restrict those addressing the board to Taney and Stone County Residents as well as Business Owners. An amendment to move the Public Comment period to the end of the meeting was passed on a 4-2 vote but further approval of the bill has been postponed.
Among the other agenda items, initial approval of a development agreement with Fountains of Fall Creek, LLC as well as the annual report of activities from the Taney County Health Department.
