The new Legislative Session begins for the City of Branson with recognition of outgoing Aldermen and the swearing in of new and returning members of the board.
Chuck Roderiguez was recognized for his two years of service in Ward 2. Roderiguez thanked the city staff for their help and expressed respect for Mayor Larry Milton though both admitted they had their differences over his term.
Roderiguez was defeated for reelection by Glenn Shulz, who was sworn into office as was Ward 1 Alderman Marshall Howden and Ward 3 Alderman Ralph LaBlanc who won their reelection bids.
In new business, Clay Cooper was reelected as President of the Board which conducts meetings in the mayor’s absence. Also Milton appointed with board approval Billy Ong and Mike Patrick to serve on the 76 Community Improvement District with Alex Girard serving as city representative.
