Governing Boards around the region are in the process of transition after the Missouri Municipal Elections earlier this month.
With election results certified by the County Clerks Offices in Forsyth and Galena, boards will begin to transition to the newly elected officials.
The City of Branson will have their first meeting after the election this evening. After finishing old business, the board will recognize departing Aldermen Marshall Howden and Ralph LeBlanc. Howden did not run for reelection while LeBlanc was defeated by Ashley Harkness for his seat.
Harkins along with Howden’s replacement Alex Williams and reelected Alderman Glenn Schulz will be sworn into office and new business will begin.
Tonight’s meeting is at 6:00 at City Hall.
