A shooting incident in northern Boone County early Wednesday evening leaves one person injured and another under arrest.
Chief Deputy Tim Roberson of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office tells Ozarks First that officers were called to a residence on Boat Dock Road west of Omaha and discovered 31-year-old Robert Culver was shot in the abdomen and suffering from a couple of blows to the head. Roberson added that a suspect was arrested at the scene, 38-year-old Cody Tate.
Culver was taken for medical treatment at a hospital in Springfield while Tate was booked into the Boone County Detention Center awaiting a court hearing. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Boone County Sheriff's Office at 870-741-8404.
