A man taken into custody by Boone County authorities is accused of raping a minor on multiple occasions.
43-year-old Nicholas Blakely was booked Oct. 14 and has been charged with 20 counts of rape and another felony count of second-degree sexual assault.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an investigator from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office was advised Aug. 20 of a report received by the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Hotline. A woman had alleged Blakely had been abusing her 17-year-old child. The minor claimed to be the victim of multiple rapes since the age of either 10 or 11.
Blakely’s bond has been set at $250,000.
