Charges of 1st-Degree Murder have been filed against a man from Christian County after a shooting incident earlier this year in Lawrence County.
The probable cause affidavit filed by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office indicates that Austin Michael Stone of Billings is accused of shooting a man in March along a county road. Witnesses said a man identified as Stone walked up to the victim whose car was in a ditch and as the victim approached, he shot him and left the scene.
Stone is being held in the Lawrence County Jail with his next court appearance scheduled for May 13.
