BRANSON, MO (March 6, 2023) – Branson High School Senior, Warat Nathan Vijitbenjaronk, has been named a finalist in the 2023 competition for National Merit Scholarships. Vijitbenjaronk was among two million students to take the PSAT in his junior year, and his score qualified him as a National Merit semifinalist in September 2022.
“As one of 15,000 finalists nationwide, Nathan is in the running to receive a highly competitive National Merit Scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to the top 7,250 finalists,” says Branson High School Senior Counselor, Dixie Bailey.
Scholarship winners will be announced in four nationwide news releases beginning in April and concluding in July. These scholarship recipients will join nearly 368,000 other distinguished young people who have earned the Merit Scholar title.
