A bridge over Beaver Creek in Central Taney County will close to traffic for a few days in August.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says that the bridge on Highway 160 near Kissee Mills will shut down Monday through Thursday on the weeks of August 2nd and 9th as crews will be taking rock and soil samples below the bridge which will require equipment to be parked on the bridge.
Each day, the bridge will be closed from 8 am to 5 pm but will be open before and after those hours.
The MODOT Website indicates that drivers will have to find alternate routes during that time and signed message boards on either side of the bridge will indicate any change in the work schedule.
