Author Lois Curran is living her dream.
Curran appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Friday to discuss her career. She has written romance and suspense; her medical career informed the medical details of her suspense book.
Curran wrote "Deliberate Malice," a thriller and suspense book that tells a medical story. That's her first book. Later, she wrote a romance trilogy.
She's loved reading all her life and wanted to write a book. She wrote a story in sixth grade for an extra credit assignment.
After facing rejection, she moved on but held onto her desire to write a novel. After encouragement from her son, Curran took the leap to make her dream a reality.
Curran is a retired nurse but keeps an active nursing license. More was discussed during the broadcast.
The full interview with Curran is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
