The second edition of the Arkansas Hot Air Balloon Championships is scheduled for Harrison this week.
After a make-up event was held in April for the postponement of the 2020 Celebration in the Sky due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the regularly scheduled event will take place this week with activities today through Sunday.
There will be a Balloon Glow this evening as well as Saturday evening with Balloon Flights and Key Grabs scheduled both Saturday and Sunday morning. Other events will take place through the weekend at the Boone County Airport including Helicopter Rides and a Children's Paper Airplane competition.
More information can be found on the Facebook Page of the Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championships.
