While southern Missouri has already seen the first freeze of the season, some areas of northern Arkansas have yet to have below freezing temperatures. That could change this evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for Carroll and Madison Counties with temperatures expected at or below 30 overnight.
Meanwhile, the NWS has a Frost Advisory out for Boone and Newton Counties where temperatures are expected between 32 and 35 that could cause some frost formation.
Temperatures are expected in the 60s on Friday's and lows are currently forecast to stay above freezing Friday night into Saturday morning.
Forecasters are calling for a chance of a bigger overall freeze in the region toward the end of next week.
