The head of the Taney County Partnership says most of the interest for projects in the region currently focus on tourism related attractions and businesses.
Jonas Arjes says during a Tuesday visit on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that the majority of interest that has emerged since the COVID-19 Pandemic has been focused on businesses ranging from the recently open KFC Restaurant to the soon to be open Chedders as well as the Social Birdy complex on Branson Hill Parkway. Arjes also mentions the ongoing work on the Image Resort Project in Hollister.
Workforce numbers and housing are still concerns according to Arjes as the 2022 Visitor Season is underway in addition to high fuel prices that could impact many different parts of the Lakes Region's economy.
